Update | Virtual Viewing Option

A note from the MPSF Team: 

​We have reached a crossroads regarding the use of Zoom for the MPSF Speaker Series. While the series has always been designed to be experienced in person, since 2020, we have also taken on the additional costs associated with livestreaming and production. This has led us to carefully reconsider the continuation of a virtual option.

At the same time, we recognize that Zoom remains important for those who may be unable to travel, are not feeling well, or live out of town but still wish to participate in the MPSF Speaker Series. We also hope to encourage a return to the in-person experience that is a core tenet of the series. With that in mind, we have decided to continue offering a virtual option, accompanied by a modest fee.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work to maintain accessibility while preserving the in-person experience that makes the MPSF Speaker Series so special.

How it works: 

All ticket holders have the option to watch a livestream of in-theater events for a fee of $10 per event. These Zoom livestreams are broadcast from the San Mateo theater – please refer to the calendar page for specific dates.

 

Ticket holders will receive an email approximately one week prior to each event with the option to purchase virtual viewing access. Livestreams must be watched live on the scheduled event date; recordings will not be available.
